  The winning medals & gift certificates for best dressed/ costume were bride & groom yorkies Mia & Pallina owned by Linda & Jim Juppe. Other winners included, Queen Esther, aka Peanut, owned by Heidi Sedovsky, and Lucky June dressed as Santa Claus, owned by Golda Huebner.
  
  The dogs dunked for discounts and bobbed for Hebrew National hot dogs. Dogs were served mini carrot & carob hamentaschen made by Terry Meyers and their humans had ones from Kupels bakery. There were lots more treats for the dogs & their people including kosher dog treats from Wagatha's that are all organic and made in Vermont. Every dog "won" a medal and each one left with a plush Star of David toy.

  Duffy walks in Boston! Owner, Mary Montione, recently wrote a children's book about her dog who became diabetic last year. She, her children and Duffy walked at the American Diabetes Association (ADA) Step Out Walk in Boston on October 24. They walked as part of "Haley's Carb Counting Court" team. The team is pictured above on Boston Common! Duffy was the inspiration behind Montione's newest low carb biscotti.

  In June we participated in the Grand Opening of the new Northeast Animal Shelter in Salem, MA - We sponsored a table and raffled off a Doggy Gift Basket with all proceeds going to the shelter. Fun was had by all and lots of money was raised to help the shelter. Click here to see pictures
